As one of the most talented experts, they have garnered international awards and recognition and are sought after around the world by exclusive hoteliers and restauranteurs, and retailers who want nothing but the best when it comes to interior design. Yabu Pushelberg‘s success is largely responsible for the reputation Canada has achieved for producing superior design talent.
Yabu Pushelberg has reached the pinnacle of success in their field and you’ll see in the photos below their projects have exquisite detailing using lots of exotic woods and stone, the lighting in their spaces is sheer perfection, the furniture is stunning and unique, the light fixtures always make a statement and what I love most is their passion for sourcing out local artists and craftsmen to bring one of a kind artistry to each project.
Amagansett—while it may mean nothing to most people, to those among the couple of thousand who populate this little hamlet in Long Island, New York, it is a waterside paradise with beachside chalets that wealthy New Yorkers escape to in the height of summer.
Among the lucky few who call the Hamptons their summer capital are renowned designers, George Yabu and Glenn Pushelberg, of the eponymously named international firm.
Yabu and Pushelberg found themselves the proud owners of a home that they immediately tore down. In its place, they designed a cantilevered two-story structure with sliding glass panels made in Germany that open out to a deck and an endless horizon.
The main living area occupies a majestic high-ceilinged space on the second floor. The highlight (a no-brainer!) is the ocean view. A fireplace sits pretty at one end, while the kitchen wears a sombre, albeit bespoke, grey look with its customized cabinets.
The Anima collection is the result of applying “the sensibilities of clay to marble” as the designers of Yabu Pushelberg describe it. Emphasizing the spiritual and sensuous capacity of natural stone as expressed in its unique coloration and veining, it brings anamorphic, fluid form to our bathroom range.
Design firm Yabu Pushelberg has completed a decadent hotel in New York’s Times Square featuring lush green walls and a moody dining room with electric blue banquettes.
Yabu Pushelberg founders George Yabu and Glenn Pushelberg designed the project for legendary hotelier Ian Schrager.
Gensler and Yabu Pushelberg, two of the most distinguished firms in architecture and interior design—have put the full weight of their considerable talent and experience behind the project Four Seasons Private Residences, a 55-story tower in south Mumbai.
