Sawyer Berson reconceived the central atrium of a New York townhouse as a soaring dining area. Japanese ink paintings are displayed on the walls, which are sheathed in a raw silk by Larsen; the chandeliers are from Circa Lighting, the mantel was custom made by Chesney’s, and the Agra rug is from Mansour. Enhancing the library’s far wall is a circa-1300 Japanese scroll; the walnut bookcases and paneling were crafted by Symm and Co., and the Agra carpet is late 19th century. The master bath, clad in cipollino marble, is equipped with a circa-1940 hanging light from Carlos de la Puente Antiques.
