Based in downtown New York with satellite offices in Los Angeles and Madrid, Rockwell Group creates extraordinary experiences and build environments the world over. Crafting a unique and individual narrative concept for each project is fundamental to Rockwell Group’s successful design approach. From the big picture to the smallest detail, the story informs and drives the design.
Rockwell Group turns dreams into space. From steel and stone, color and light, the group creates environments that are at once destinations and a means of transport: to new worlds, new experiences. Rockwell Group has crafted a vital form of vernacular architecture and design, one that crackles with the kinetic energy of the avant-garde, the shimmer of Hollywood, the sensual mystery of a far-off, yet somehow familiar, place.
Avenue is a bar, lounge, and event space across from the Highline in Lower Manhattan. Rockwell Group, which designed Avenue Los Angeles in Hollywood, re-envisioned the New York location as a grand French Villa. Ornate, old world design, modern finishes, and state-of-the-art technology create a layered, luxurious, and immersive environment.
Celebrated for its curved angles and rich history, the iconic Fontainebleau Hotel is the jewel in Miami’s Modern architecture crown. For the renovation of its infamous Bleau Bar, the firm blended sophistication and glamour to create a contemporary interpretation of the hotel’s beloved design. A palette of refined materials, such as terrazzo, brass, and velvet, in shades of blue and gold, creates a sumptuous environment, framed by the original windows of the hotel lobby.
Chica Miami, the second collaboration of Chef Lorena Garcia and John Kunkel’s 50 Eggs, Inc., is located in Miami’s MiMo district. Drawing inspiration from the fresh tastes of Chef Garcia’s cuisine, as well as the traditionally open, airy residences and hospitality spaces found throughout Latin America, the restaurant pairs a tropical palette with regional inspirations, evoking the legendary cigar lounges of South America and Miami’s vibrant nightlife.
Rockwell Group’s concept for the flagship Equinox Hotel was inspired by a seamless transition between travel, work, play, and a healthy lifestyle, built on the pillars of movement, nutrition, and regeneration.

This unique hospitality, food, and beverage mash-up is reminiscent of a bustling boutique hotel—but without the actual hotel rooms. Rockwell Group designed Freehold’s second location in Miami’s Wynwood district, which expands the aesthetic DNA from the successful Brooklyn flagship, while taking advantage of the all-season climate to seamlessly blend indoor and outdoor experiences. The company focused the design of the interior around three aesthetic attitudes: Hideaway; Explore; and Indulge, mixing vintage, industrial style with Miami’s fresh, Floridian vibrancy.
As part of the resort’s multi-faceted $690-million renovation, Rockwell Group designed three new amenity spaces – KAOS Nightclub, Bobby Flay’s Shark, and Greene St. Kitchen – that have distinct identities, while seamlessly connecting guests to a new dayclub.
As part of the Palms’ extensive renovations, Rockwell Group redesigned two of the hotel’s famous suites: the Kingpin, which features two regulation-sized bowling alleys, and the Hardwood, with an indoor basketball court. They kept the core aspects of the two suites intact, but gave both a fresh, contemporary feeling.
Peak is situated just above Edge, the highest outdoor observation deck in the Western Hemisphere, at 30 Hudson Yards. Located on the 101st floor, the lounge, restaurant, and event space offer an unparalleled dining experience with breathtaking views.
A new headquarters celebrates the record company’s history, its vast catalog of work, music making, and performance. Bright, contemporary, and concise work spaces span across the five-story main tower and an adjoining two-story office building that originally housed a Ford Model T assembly line. The contrast of old and new, hard and soft, and warm and cool materials creates a dynamic, future-forward home base for WMG’s 800 employees.
The Waterline Club is a grand amenities center and the heart of Waterline Square, a new luxury residence on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. The Club connects the three-tower condo and rental development into a single community—it’s a gathering space for art, music, wellness, work, athletics, and the exchange of ideas.
