Today the topic of discussion is interior design, but, with a twist. We’re proud to present two world-renowned Interior Designers. While Peter Kohler Innenarchitektur focuses his projects on Contract, Viquerat Décoration & Architecture d’Intérieur is best known for its residential projects. Therefore, as a tribute to both firms, we’re comparing Fierce High-End Projects: Contract vs Residential.
These two projects have some clear points of connection even though the first one is a Hotel project and the second one a Residential one.
The most obvious point is the style of interior design, which in both projects is modern. On the first project, the home decorator preferred a more vibrant color pattern, and on the second one, a neutral color palette was preferred with some contrasting objects such as pillowcases and chairs. A similar style of design is also seen by the type of furniture chosen. In the first project, a modern ambiance is presented and on the second one, there’s a more lavish environment.
The sofas chosen on these projects have similar lines and style, nonetheless, they each evoke different sensations, but create in both cases a modern house/hotel interior design, which is perfect for taking some Interior design ideas.
The first project, created at La Ginabelle Hotel by Peter Kohler Innenarchitektur has an elegant and modern interior design with neutral colors. The inside of this hotel room is simple and every piece of furniture’s location was thought-out by the interior designer. The dining area was design as comfortable as possible, being included a sofa around the dining table.
The second one, a 7 Stars Chalet project by Viquerat Décoration & Architecture d’Intérieur has a slightly higher luxurious ambiance, with a darker tone scheme used, contrasting with the different wooden elements throughout the house. A similar style of chairs was used in both projects, but on the first one, there’s a more relaxed and laid-back ambiance, whereas, on the second one, it can be sensed a more luxurious and even formal ambiance.
Both projects are great for getting home decor ideas on different interior design styles.
Different projects with different styles, the first being a contract project and the second one residential.
The wooden elements on the Melted project are in sync with the chairs made of wood with velvet cushions. There’s a simple style with clean lines, with a higher level of functionality. This project has a Scandinavian ambiance, open-space, with only the essential elements of furniture, all of them having a specific purpose.
The residential project by Viquerat Décoration & Architecture d’Intérieur has a royal, luxurious, and classic ambiance and style. The dining area is completely different in style than the first project, giving the idea of being in a palace. Details on the dining table and chairs turn every piece of furniture in this design unique and full of character.
Modern and clean with a neutral color palette is what best characterizes this contract project by Peter Kohler Innenarchitektur. The simple and clean lines reinforce the classic midnight blue color of the sofas and armchairs.
The second project by Viquerat Décoration & Architecture d’Intérieur is simply dazzling, with clear classic elements revamped with a modern touch. A very neutral ambiance, composed of beige and white shades mostly. The dining room set has a classic look, the chandelier above gives the room an extra element of elegance, and is a statement luxury piece in the home interior design.
There’s a clear distinction between the contract project and the residential, the first being more relaxed and casual while modern, and the second luxurious and classy.
The darker ambiance, dark curtains, and brown armchairs with dark spots create a luxurious and warm ambiance in this fabulous interior design contract project by Peter Kohler Innenarchitektur. There’s a modern vibe to it, the armchairs and the chandelier above help to set the tone in this restaurant.
This residential project by Viquerat Décoration & Architecture d’Intérieur has a slightly different vibe. A more vibrant and lavish color scheme was used by the interior designer, giving this dining/living area a modern, elegant and luxurious look. The shades of blue contrast perfectly with the golden details, creating a modern home decoration.
