The original elements that have been disappearing in recent decades have been recovered by Recdic8. Project located in the charming Gothic Quarter of Barcelona, and with special attention to the client’s love for taxidermy and travel. Taking advantage of the architectural elements of the flat, they created a living space with an airy, light-filled feel. The flat’s luminosity was further accentuated by vintage pieces and fabrics in rich, earthy tones that we mixed with sophisticated antiques and custom artwork.
The facade with its rhythmic openings reminds us of the flickering scenes of an old black and white film, therefore using the space as a sequence that came naturally, thus creating a timeless and elegant space.
Office located in Barcelona’s Avenida Diagonal with high ceilings and large windows. A set of spaces has been designed to recreate a home-office. That is, an office with living and meeting areas that are more typical of homes, of the residential environment, rather than workspaces or offices, which are often boring and impersonal.
This design seeks to generate a set of fully functional spaces. At the same time, we project a modern and close brand image.

CaixaBank’s new offices in Barcelona are conceived as a fundamental instrument of the cultural transformation taking place in the company.
The result of this project is a people-centred space that enables a culture of collaboration and efficiency. The reform of the well-known Crazy Pianos music club was the beginning of a new stage in its already long history. The new design had to support a new commercial bet, aimed at a more demanding public and with a wider age range. But without losing the essence of the original project: the music of two live pianos and a relaxed and fun atmosphere.
The project of the integral reform of this house is a collaboration with a decorator who commissioned us the distribution and installation project and the control of the work. To carry out the distribution, we sought to optimise the spaces in accordance with the needs of the end client. The installation project and the location of the lighting is the key to achieving a space that is both bright and welcoming.
The use of wood was essential in this project, and thus achieve a set of spaces that are welcoming but at the same time very modern.
The use of neutral colours on the walls with a touch of colour in the furniture and decoration was the main essence and inspiration in this project in Barcelona.
Flat located in the Sant Gervasi area of Barcelona. All the furniture in the house is made to measure in white lacquer with nail handles. The entrance hall and the distribution corridor have cupboards for general storage and lockers for each of the family members, very convenient for each member of the family to keep their personal belongings tidy at the entrance of the house.
More than an integral reform it has been an update of a house that was all wood and was in its original pine colour. It was painted all white, inside and out, but the kitchen and dining room were the rooms that were completely renovated. Where there used to be a bedroom is now the dining room. And what was the old kitchen was transformed into a new bedroom.

The main aim of the project was to maximise both the spectacular sea and city views from every corner of the flat, eliminating unnecessary walls to achieve larger spaces that, combined with mirror and glass sets, would move natural light and views into the last corner.
This is a comprehensive intervention, with the consolidation of the original structures, the waterproofing of the lower floor, the change of enclosures and installations in general and the opening of new windows. It is proposed to maintain the original stone box and to programme new uses for these old spaces, extending the view of the exterior, using part of the farmyard structures as a garden and living room and making them more versatile.
The use of neutral but dark tones gives these spaces an elegant, romantic and sophisticated essence.
To inhabit an interior that seems the widest of open spaces. This is the affinity of contrasts that Susanna Cots achieves in the interior decoration of this dwelling.
The owners’ aim was to escape the stresses of everyday life in the big city.
This renovation project of the rooms of the Hotel Montesol, made these spaces airier, due to the use of light tones in their painting, and at the same time very comfortable that transmit well the idea of holidays.
The “Wabi Sabi” concept is about finding beauty in the imperfection caused by the passage of time. It was the basis for this project, where the owner was looking for a timeless space, in which the materials evolve naturally with the passing of time, in which to feel at peace and avoid the sensation of perfection and coldness.
