The studio was founded by Colleen Gove Healey, who has over fifteen years of architectural experience in the DC Metro region to the East coast. Colleen Healey has won over forty local and national design awards for both residential and commercial projects. Her work has been published in magazines such as Home and Design, Dwell, Architecture DC, Residential Architect Magazine and The Washington Post.

Before ascertaining her own firm, Colleen Haeley was apart of the board at McInturff Architects for thirteen years. She received her Masters in Architecture from the University of Maryland and has taught at local schools of design including her alma mater and Corcoran College of Art and Design.
