Gulla Jonsdottir is an architect and designer known for creating unexpected and marvellous, modern designs from her studio in Los Angeles. Notorious for her sensual and dynamic forms that work in harmony with their surroundings, Gulla’s Jonsdottir environmental compassion brings unique spatial experiences that harmonize with the surrounding site, always echoing the integration of organic beauty and function.

Born in Iceland, Gulla Jonsdottir studied mathematics and biology before moving to Los Angeles to study architecture at the Southern California Institute of Architecture. Before opening her own firm, the designer worked for Richard Meier and Partners, Walt Disney Imagineering, and Dodd Mitchell Design.
