Kara Mann is the founder and creative director of the studio KARA MANN, a design studio established in 2005 and has offices in Chicago, New York and Los Angeles.

Since then, Kara Mann has acquired the reputation of being in the cultural vanguard for pushing the traditional boundaries and limits. Her interiors are impactful and refined, drawing inspiration from an extensive spectrum of creative fields – art, architecture and fashion.

The Wall Street Journal described her as a ‘sparkplug in the world of design’, the interior designer juxtaposes formal design elements with unexpected materiality, architecture and irreverence which attracted clients in the art, fashion, finance, music and entertainment fields.

Kara Mann created a furniture collection – The Milling Road – of 53 products for every room, with 30 different fabrics. The Milling Road is a collection with a distinctive take on timeless classics updated for the urbane and forward-thinking audience.

The whole collection line is a series of archetypal forms, classic patterns, sharp details and muted colours infused with a sense of modernity that stays true to Kara Mann‘s signature style, walking the thin line between sophistication and edge, classicism and irreverence, feminity and masculinity.
