Adriana Nicolau is one of Spain’s best interior designers. With remarkable interior design projects on her portfolio, we already know sophistication, uniqueness and timeless design will be present in every new project she takes on. In the incredible Palacete de Córdoba, the design is no exception.
In this interior design project by the unique Adriana Nicolau, the Palacete de Córdoba is a space where you will feel amazed by the beauty and personality inside each room, where you can find the characteristic decor style of Adriana Nicolau, that comes from the constant research for unique and modern pieces.
Palacete de Córdoba was the home of the poet Julio Aumente, which had already been restored in the 1950s by the architect Rafael de la Hoz. Adriana’s design studio, adjusting to the wishes and needs of the new owners, reorganised all spaces to create a modern, comfortable and functional home.
Comfortable and functional, this house was turned modern with five rooms decorated to perfection. On these lines, the contemporary living room with a fireplace is decorated in blue and beige tones and where metallic structures, designed by Adriana Nicolau, delimit the living area of the dining room. The sofas are also designed and created by the Spanish designer, always with the unique and timeless design that she offers in every project.
The construction of the Palacete de Córdoba is distributed over two floors, in addition to the roof, has a large central patio where all the rooms converge into. Decorated with contemporary and exclusive pieces, it’s easy to discover stunning and special details that have us falling in love all over again.
The dining room features a modern glass table with luxury chairs designed by Oswald Haerdtl. The ceiling lamps is a design piece by Adriana Nicolau’s design studio.
Inside the modern and unique kitchen, you can get amazed by the floor designed by Francisco Segarra. A mix between rustic and contemporary, this space brings back the past and meets it with the present, creating a unique design that it’s impossible not to love.
Preserving the charm and personality of the building was always one of the goals for Adriana’s design studio. Because of that, some of the original elements were kept, including the carpentry.
However, the doors, windows, and shutters were restored and updated with a bold blue colour that marked every space of the house, setting the tone for the remaining decor. The shower is designed by Adriana Nicolau design studio.
Mimicking the luxury contemporary interior design of the mansion, the exterior spaces present a mix of antique furniture pieces that owners recovered from previous homes with current pieces.
The result of this fantastic fusion by Adriana Nicolau is an eclectic and very personal environment where every design lover can breathe the essence and charm of an old palace.
