Last week was the 67th Berlinale – Internationale Filmfestspiele Berlin. Every year the german capital celebrates the creativity from all over the world. They dedicate ten days to the most extraordinary and exciting motion picture projects and allow the city, the world and all those film lovers to experience a truly cosmopolitan and cultural atmosphere. The festival takes place at the amazing Theater at Potsdamer Platz. It is a stunning and cultural building perfect for these elegant and charismatic events!

The Berlin Film Festival celebrates filmography but also beauty and prestige. In the red carpet, you can not only see the stars but also admire their fabulous dressing choices!

 

Being a Bear the symbol of the city, the Golden Bear is the biggest award of the german film festival and numerous personalities such as the well-known actress Meryl Streep have won one. This year the honor went to the Hungarian director Ildikó Enyedi with the film “On body and Soul”.

Alain Gomis won the Silver Bear with his African drama “Félicité”. With his film we can understand Congolese culture through the eyes of a bar singer that frenetically searches for her teenage son through the streets of Kinshasa.

The young Portuguese director Diogo Costa Amarante, with the film “Cidade Pequena”, won the Golden Bear for Best Short Film. With the film, the director tells the story about a six-year-old boy who discovers that people die when their heart stops beating and can not go to sleep after the discovery. A truly remarkable story that conquered Berlin and is ready to do the same to the rest of the world!

The Berlinale is a renamed worldwide known festival. It is a celebration of culture, fashion, film and life. An experience and adventure worth living!
