It is already known the result of the best restaurants in the World, awarded by Restaurant magazine. The voters of this award are an influential group of over 900 international leaders in the restaurant industry, each selected for their expert opinion of the international restaurant scene. Being on that list is synonymous of being on the Top of the World.
This is not an easy choice, because there is quality in many parts of the world and the decision cannot be consensual. It’s released the list of the 50 best restaurants but let us focus on the top 5 restaurants.
The Danish restaurant NOMA has won this award during three years in a row, but this year we have a new winner.
The 5th place comes from New York, it’s the Eleven Madison Park. The Chef is Daniel Humm, he offers an experience extremely delicious and engaging, uses first-class ingredients and claims that their customers can rely on all the mystery involved in the dish.
Mugaritz, from San Sebástian, Spain got the 4th place. The Chef Andoni Luis Aduriz, apply a lot of creativity to their dishes and focuses the attention on detail. He loves to play and seeks to create impact in his customers and after they pass by Mugaritz they get the feeling that there is no place like that.
After winning last year’s 5th place, this year Osteria Francescana reaches the 3rd place in the standings. The mix of tradition and modernity are crossed by Chef Massimo Bottura, which makes his brilliant eccentrics, and ensure you ardent followers and the 3rd place in this classification.
Noma, who won this award three years in a row, still on top, yet this year reached the 2nd place. Remains extremely innovative and creative within the field of culinary. Chef René Redzepu always tries to put each dish in Danish culture. There is always at least one dish that can cause happiness in the client.
And finally the first classified in the “The world’s 50 best restaurants” is El Celler de Can Roca, located in Girona, Spain. The restaurant has been rising on the classification over the last eight years, reaching this year the 1st place, the final result of a continuous work of Joan Roca brothers (head chef) and Jordi Roca (pastry chef). Over the years they have been gathering magic in his creations through a huge imagination and through their commitment and hard work and now they have reached the top of the world.
This is the Top 5 of the year 2013, and does not imply that those who have fell in their classification deteriorated in quality, but tastes and trends are changing and from them derive always ups and downs in the standings. Each person may have different preferences, but one thing everyone can be certain, when you visit any of the restaurants in this list we all find an extreme quality and leave amazed.
