Aya Atoui and Manal Ellias are the creative duo of the project “A House For A Home”. Lebanese photographer Aya Atoui with his pair decided to produce video projections on various Dubai buildings, inspired on the fact that they lived in a place with no sense of identity – geography and personality-wise. They took photos of their efforts which were recently on display at The Third Line gallery in Dubai.

“A House For A Home” explores the effects of our environment on an individual’s identity by documenting projections that are cast against the facade of various infrastructures in and around Dubai.

The idea of the projections was about capturing temporary moments, where the faceless buildings and street corners are activated and given the chance to re-invent themselves. “A House For A Home” stands out for fleeting and constantly adaptive.
