Always stimulating and fresh, Carden Cunietti’s interiors continue to please their design-aware clients with laid-back luxe and gloriously detailed surfaces. Eleanora Cunietti and Audrey Carden have an unrivalled reputation for transforming private living spaces into ‘harmonious homes that function well’. They’re fearless with unexpected colour and brilliant at picking the perfect statement vintage piece.
Nothing Hill, London
This Notting Hill house off Portobello Road originally had an antiques market in the basement. This area is now a large kitchen, dining and family room, with a modern, minimal feel. The rest of the house is a glamourous mix of pattern, gilt, teal blue and gold.
Their best projects focus on private homes. Carden Cunietti is currently engaged in a modern house in Barcelona, a house with a studio in Los Angeles, a maisonette overlooking Hyde Park, a Georgian property in Greenwich, houses in Regent’s Park and Little Venice, and a Victorian house in Brockley, SE4. In 2014, Eleanora and Audrey staged The Spring Clean, a charity event that raised over £50,000 for Kids Company.
