Have you ever imagine a piece of Paris in Gothenburg’s heart? Le Pain Français is a successful chain of French-inspired cafés in Gothenburg, a city well-known for its vibrant café culture. For this high-profile location on Gothenburg’s most prominent boulevard, the owners wanted to create a bistro, i.e., to serve dinner as well as lunches and have a full bar (in Sweden, a “café” isn’t always expected to serve alcohol).
The bistro concept was a big step for the owners, and the design needed to be as ambitious as the vision. The location, with some of the toughest restaurant competition in the city, also called for something out of the ordinary.Then, Le Pain Francais’s owners gathered with STYLT TRAMPOLI to fulfill its concept bringing a little of France to Gothenburg, adding a contemporary and mid-century decoration, illustrating french Belle Èpoque and its influences.
Here’s where BRABBU started to be part of Stylt Trampoli’s interior decoration project. KOI center table was the selected piece for its magical lighting mutations revealed by the brass surface, combined with the glass top. KOI was used to complete the design basis, to infuse an eclectic and graceful history, making the restaurant an unique and memorable experience for their customers.
