The architect Yori Ansar, initiated a project to create traditional home throughout Indonesia. This architect challenges young designers from distant villages to innovate and refresh those same traditional houses. This project is based on the culture of the country, which offers a strong identity.

These house are completely inspired by the Indian culture and heritage and they are perfectly adapted to the climate. This is a remarkable job of preserving culture and shows a resourceful side we can have with the past.

The youth group realized that they had only 4 houses of rattan palette and thatched roofs, realized the need to take this project forward and preserve this identity and this construction almost lost in time. The construction process and techniques that went across generations was transmitted to the group of young students to be preserved, that were a evolution for greater precision in these constructions.

The building material is acquired and worked locally. The structures are not only the basics of these home but give it a unique shape and soul.

These homes are history and culture, is a heritage that should be preserved. Here are values, soul and a whole identity of a country that should be for eternity.
